Position Overview
As a Track Builder with Action Sports Construction at American Ramp Company,you will play a crucial, hands-on role in building world-class Dirt Jumps & Pump Tracks. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position tailored forhardworking individuals who want to craft specialized recreational spaces fromthe ground up.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, organize, and maintain activeconstruction sites to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
· Perform heavy manual labor, including digging,trenching, and moving bulk materials like dirt, gravel and asphalt.
· Assist heavy equipment operators by spotting,hand-grading, and manually shaping complex terrain features, transitions, lips,and landings.
· Assist the Asphalt crew in the placement,pouring, compacting and finishing of asphalt surfaces.
· Operate basic hand and power tools & platecompactors
· Travel to various project sites, maintaining astrong work ethic and positive attitude in diverse, outdoor weather conditions.
Requirements &Qualifications
· Previous experience in general construction,landscaping, earthwork, or asphalt is highly preferred.
· Exceptional physical stamina; ability toconsistently lift 50+ pounds, perform repetitive physical motions, and worklong hours outdoors in varying climates.
· Willingness to travel regionally or nationallyfor extended periods, depending on project locations.
· Valid driver’s license and reliabletransportation.
· Strong ability to follow precise instructions,work cohesively within a tight-knit crew, and adhere strictly to site safetystandards.
· A background or active passion for actionsports (skateboarding, BMX, mountain biking) is a massive plus, as it providesa natural understanding of the mechanics and flow of the features we build.
